Hi! I'm Marissa and this is the Lovely Post blog. The is where I post shop updates and info, design finds, and the occasional daily nonsense. The shop is all about unique stationery and paper goods. All work is hand made and produced in-house or locally. I love working on custom projects, so get in touch with your ideas!

I live in West Michigan - Holland to be exact - but grew up in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. I graduated with a Fine Arts degree, with a graphic design focus. I live with my husband, Jim, who is a high school teacher and when I'm not designing or updating the blog, I have a day job working in the office of the same school that he teaches at. I hope to get a dog someday.

I started Lovely Post when I couldn't find many cards that I liked in the store, so I started making them (this was before I knew that there was tons of great stuff to be found online!). I went on to make my own wedding invitations and have kept plugging along ever since. It's a small operation, so I appreciate all your support!
