Wallpaper

I had a bedroom growing up that was wallpapered, and when it was time for a change it took forever to get it off. (Of course my parents required me to help because manual labor builds character, right?) After that experience, I swore that I would never wallpaper any walls because of the time and effort, and not to mention the expense. As of late, however, I have seen a lot of great looking wallpaper showcased here and there. This is a huge bummer since I vowed not to ever use it.

But there is good news! Check out this tutorial by Jones Design Company on painted wallpaper. I think it looks just fantastic and will definitely go in my inspiration folder for when I someday own my own walls.

Saturday

To Do List

1. Sew a skirt or two or three (after I figure out how)
2. Make some Pear & Gorgonzola Pizza
3. Clean out my bedroom closet
4. Learn how to take spectacular photos
5. Wear the new clothes I bought at H&M today in spite of suffering from some post-shopping guilt.

I got this shirt and these pants, to name a few...

Monday

I would like it to be warm, please.

I am set on buying a swim suit from J. Crew this year despite the price. I have bought other suits throughout the years, but they seem to only last one season before I change my mind and retire them. It's an investment, really. I've had my eye on these (of course neutral) so far:

Tuesday

Giveaway!

My good friend Leigh is hosting a giveaway featuring one of my note card sets over on her blog! Be sure to take a look around at her blog and excellent etsy shop before you enter the giveaway for your chance to win.

Here is an old picture of us (Leigh on the left, me in the center) along with another friend Katie from high school... not too embarrassing, right?

Wednesday

One for One

You've probably heard about TOMS, but in case you haven't, they're really great shoes with a great cause. For every pair purchased, another new pair is given to a child in need. I have a pair in olive which I love, but am thinking I'd like a neutral pair to wear on a more regular basis once it gets warm enough (which I cannot wait for!).  Maybe a nice faded black?
